Due to the nature of our handcrafted living finishes, fixtures are designed to age and develop a natural patina over time. Subtle variations in tint and color are to be expected, as each finish is individually hand applied. These natural variations contribute to the uniqueness of every fixture and will continue to deepen and darken with age.
This unlacquered brass finish is classically colonial and will darken over time. Brass is 70% copper, so it is well suited for coastal conditions because the salt air won't cause it to rust or corrode.
